Flightpath signs ad sales deal with Tom Segura’s podcast network YMH Studios

Podcasts will be monetised through DAI and baked-in ads

Flightpath has partnered with podcast network YMH to help monetise the network’s line of celebrity-hosted entertainment and comedy podcasts, the ad inventory management platform announced. 

YMH Studios was first launched in 2023 by comedic duo and spouses Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitsky. Since then, the network has featured a number of hit podcasts including Your Mom’s House with Segura and Pazsitsky, comedy podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave, First Date with Lauren Compton, and more.

As part of the partnership, Flightpath will drive revenue growth for YMH’s podcast portfolio through providing the network with trusted available inventory as well as the tools to manage baked-in and DAI monetisation opportunities. YMH Studios’ head of ad revenue Alan Abdine said Flightpath’s yield management solution is the “missing piece” that will take its in-house ad sales team to the next level. 

In addition to bringing baked-in and DAI monetisation opportunities, Flightpath’s yield management platform provides partners with real-time business insights to track performance across channels and monetisation partners, intelligent flighting alerts to provide teams with problem alerts before they occur, and other solutions such as air checks and proof-of-run reports to avoid wasted time. 

“Optimising a mix of DAI and baked-in ads opens up a world of possibilities for both revenue generation and listener engagement,” said Abdine. “We're confident that Flightpath will be instrumental in solidifying YMH Studios' position as a leader in the podcasting industry.”

As Flightpath continues to expand its offerings, the platform launched new one-year projection features in January this year that allow publishers to predict campaign performance and inventory availability for 12 months in advance. The new features include frequency capping, pacing and brand exclusion, and the ability to integrate with leading DAI-enabled podcast hosts and order management systems. 

Flightpath works with a number of clients including publishers and networks like AdLarge, Fable & Folly, and Adalyst Media, as well as supported platforms such as Megaphone by Spotify, Triton Digital, and Boostr.
