Realm signs US sales deal to represent Adelicious podcasts

Company will handle overseas monetisation for select podcasts including Noiser hits

Audio fiction company Realm has signed a new deal with podcast network Adelicious, the company has announced, making Realm the exclusive US advertising representative for a range of Adelicious’ shows.

Under the new agreement, Realm will manage US ad sales for podcasts including Intelligence Squaredand the British Podcast Award-winning Super Great Kids' Stories, as well as a select range of popular titles from production company Noiser, which is run by Adelicious co-founder Pascal Hughes. This includes Real Dictators, Real Survival Stories, and Short History Of...

Realm is best known as a production company and distribution network specialising in audio fiction. The company has produced podcasts for a range of major entertainment companies based on established IP, including Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind,The Flash: Escape The Midnight Circus and Orphan Black: The Next Chapter. The company also partnered with entertainment media company IGN last month to adapt a range of videogame IP into scripted audio productions, and acquired podcast companies Pinna and Lipstick & Vinyl earlier this year.

Adelicious has also had a successful year, securing a number of partnerships including negotiating Uber’s recent sponsorship of Steven Bartlett’s Diary Of A CEO podcast. It also represents ad sales for Staying Relevant, co-hosted by recent I’m A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson.
