ShxtsNGigs announces ‘biggest ever’ live show at the O2

Patreon members will have early access to tickets before general sale on Friday

Comedy podcast ShxtsNGigs is holding its biggest-ever live show at London’s O2 arena, the hosts have announced, taking place Sunday 26 May next year.

The comedy podcast, hosted by friends James and Fuhad, has grown a significant following among Gen Z audiences through its use of video and social media, with 2.4 million monthly listeners and 7.8 million TikTok followers.

"The second-best podcast in the world has only just got itself a headline show at The O2,” the hosts said. “This is the biggest thing ShxtsNGigs have ever done and we can't wait for you all to see it come together.

“We've worked so hard to create a show that best represents us and our community, we're so grateful for all the love you give us - this wouldn't be possible without everyone. Bring your friends, family… well, maybe not your parents - you know the drill. Hope to see you all there!"

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10am next Friday, while the podcast’s more than 22,000 paid Patreon subscribers will be able to purchase them from tomorrow. Pre-sale tickets will also be available for O2 Priority members.

This latest live date follows a sell-out six-date UK tour, which saw the pair recording live in front of audiences in London, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham. The podcast also joined the Acast Creator Network earlier this year, allowing brands to advertise on the podcast through Acast’s marketplace.
