Professional services giant PwC has collaborated with business podcast The Nowhere Office to co-host a three-part branded miniseries on using AI in the workplace, timed to coincide with the UK’s AI Safety Summit this month.
The first episode of the special AI-focused miniseries launched on Friday last week and features co-hosts, writers Julia Hobsbawm and Stefan Stern, in conversation with PwC UK’s head of technology and investment Ben Higgen and Omnicom Media Group’s head of ethics Alice Thwaite about key trends and takeaways from the summit. The episodes are recorded at PwC’s podcast studio in Central London.
“Here is a special edition of The Nowhere Office, one of three that we’re bringing you in rapid succession to cover developments in AI and the workforce and indeed society, brought to you in association with PwC UK,” said Hobsbawm.
“This week in the UK, at Bletchley Park just outside London - a historic site where the enigma code was cracked and World War Two turned a corner - the UK is hosting its AI Safety Summit with dignitaries around the world, including Elon Musk, and all eyes are on them,” said Stern. “We’re here today to kick the topic around a bit as well.”
The Nowhere Office is an independent podcast series that has been running since 2021 and covers insights into the future of workplaces with interviews from professionals like Rob Sadow, co-founder and CEO of flexible working tech tool company Scoop, and Helen Brockleback, CEO of British luxury trade sector body Walpole, as well as PwC experts like chairman and senior partner for the UK and Middle East, Kevin Ellis.
PwC also has its own line of podcasts hosted by experts which include The A - Z of Tech, the Risk & Regulation Rundown, Business in Focus, and many more. The podcasts are available across all major podcast platforms.
