T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, former Good Morning America anchors who were fired after their affair went public in January this year, are launching a new podcast with iHeartMedia, according to an announcement from the media corporation.
Weekly podcast Amy & T.J. marks the first time since the couple has spoken publicly about their relationship since their departure from Good Morning America. According toiHeartMedia, the podcast will be “informative, entertaining, and above all, authentic”. The show, which both co-hosts will act as executive producers for, will cover current events, pop culture and other topics of interest.
Holmes and Robach also posted about the podcast announcement on Instagram, and said that the podcast will be out from 5 December on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms. In addition, both Holmes and Robach will be expanding their relationship with iHeartMedia and working on a “full slate of upcoming programming for iHeartPodcasts”.
iHeartMedia also recently announced another upcoming podcast with former Dance Moms reality star and content creator JoJo Siwa, according to an exclusive report by The Hollywood Reporter. The podcast, titled JoJo Siwa Now, launched on Monday and features interviews with a number of her former reality co-stars including Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller.
The podcast is part of an exclusive slate of shows that Siwa is working on with iHeartMedia’s Outspoken Podcast Network. The network was first announced in March this year and aims to amplify voices from the LGBTQ+ community, including talents like actress Laverne Cox and the hosts of award-winning podcast Las Culturistas, Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers.
“I am so excited for my fans to get to know me like never before,” said Siwa. “I’ve authentically shared my life online for over a decade and this podcast will dive even deeper into who I am and what makes me, me. I’m also incredibly lucky to have my very best friends join me as guests to laugh with me and get deep about life and who I am, separate from the headlines.”
