Comedian Grace Campbell to host dating podcast for iHeart and Novel

Podcast will be available across all major podcast platforms from November

Comedian and author Grace Campbell is hosting a new weekly sex and relationships podcast produced by iHeartPodcasts and Novel, the two companies have announced.

The podcast, titled 28 Dates Later, will see Campbell going on 28 dates across a two-month period with people who are the complete opposite of her usual type. Episodes will feature both audio clips from the actual dates, as well as post-date debriefs between Campbell and her friends Roz and Dan.

"My goal isn't necessarily to find 'the one', but to learn more about myself and prepare for what I want out of the next phase in my life - my 30s,” said Campbell. “I want to become more open-minded to different people and different ways to date, as well as more confident in myself and my dating life.”

“Dating isn't easy, so I want this podcast to feel like you're having an honest conversation with your most reassuring best mate. I for one really need that in my life!"

The podcast will be available on all major podcast platforms starting 6 November and will release twice-weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays. Campbell previously hosted another podcast in 2020 titled Amazing Disgrace: The Voicenotes, a tie-in to her debut book with the same name, in which she interviews guests about the most disgraceful things they’ve done in their lives.

28 Dates Later is the latest collaboration between iHeartMedia and independent podcast production company Novel, following the partnership they announced in February 2021 to create a slate of original series over the course of three years.

This recently included hit true crime podcast The Girlfriends which quickly shot to the top of the charts following its launch in July this year. The series recently sold its adaptation rights to independent production company A24, which plans to turn the show into a TV series.
