Hit parenting podcast Jen & Lottie Do… Parenting is now part of the Acast Creator Network for its second season, which debuted on Tuesday this week, the company announced.
The podcast, which launched in May this year, is hosted by Irish comedians and presenters Jennifer Zamparelli and Lottie Ryan, who speak honestly and openly about their biggest fears, failures, and wins as parents. As the podcast moves on to its second season, Acast will offer its monetisation tools to help grow the show's revenue.
With the partnership, brands will now be able to advertise on the podcast through Acast’s ad marketplace, with opportunities for both host-read and programmatic sponsorships. Acast will also distribute the podcast across all major podcast platforms.
“We’re huge fans of Jen & Lottie, and not only are we now hosting the show, but we will work with them closely on advertising, sponsorship, growth, promotion and revenue,” said Acast Ireland Creator Network director Jennifer Dollard. “These things make Acast the best place for podcasters in Ireland.”
“Now we’re live with our second season, Acast is the perfect home for us,” said Zamparelli. “We’re looking forward to working with the team to develop our commercial offering and grow the podcast for our listeners.”
Acast is continuing to invest in the Irish podcasting market by partnering with podcasts to grow its creator network, including news podcast Free State, hosted by former presenter of TV show Ireland Unfiltered Dion Fanning and football analyst Joe Brolly. Acast also launched its podcast incubator programme Acast Amplifier in Ireland this year, with an aim to amplify up-and-coming voices in the region by providing them with funding and mentorship support.
