Sounder partners with Flightpath to improve availability forecasting for podcast ads

Partnership will provide real-time view of ad inventory across all platforms

Sounder, a brand safety and contextual intelligence solution for audio, has partnered with ad inventory management platform Flightpath to improve impression availability forecasting for podcast publishers using Sounder’s targeting technology.

With this partnership, podcast publishers and brands using Sounder’s contextual targeting solution will gain access to Flightpath’s forecasting tools, including its nine-month view, which promises to provide them with a real-time view of podcast inventory across all supported podcast platforms. This can help publishers predict and prevent oversold inventory and campaign under-performance, working according to predicted rather than prior results.

“Sounder and Flightpath are both committed to building world-class technology to help podcast publishers grow their businesses," said Sounder CEO and co-founder Kal Amin. “By combining Sounder’s groundbreaking audio intelligence with Flightpath’s innovative forecasting tools, we provide publishers a more comprehensive solution to help them scale and reach their full potential.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Sounder,” said Flightpath CEO Sean Howard. “Sounder’s contextual targeting gives real-time packaging and brand safety options upon which we can now layer in reach and availability, giving publishers the tools to find, package, and sell significant opportunities to their buyers.”

Flightpath has worked with a number of leading publishers and networks including AdLarge, Podglomerate, and Adalyst Media. Sounder has also recently partnered with digital advertising platforms AMA (A Million Ads) to integrate its contextual podcast data into AMA Studio’s ad creation tool. With the partnership, Sounder aimed to help AMA deliver more relevant and brand-safe podcast advertising, allowing publishers to reach their targeted audiences more effectively.
