Parenting podcast Two Doting Dads joins iHeartPodcast Network Australia

Podcast to gain access to monetisation and distribution tools through iHeart

Two Doting Dads, a hit parenting podcast hosted by reality TV star Matty J and social media personality Ash Wicks, has joined ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network in Australia.

With this partnership, iHeart will represent the Two Doting Dads podcast for the purposes of ad sales, and connect it with brands and advertisers. The iHeartPodcast Network is the number one podcast publisher in Australia and the second most popular sales representative, according to Triton Digital.

“Dads rejoice! Finally there’s a solution to all yours and my parenting woes… or at least someone who understands the endless facepalm moments,” said ARN head of digital audio Corey Laton. “Both Matty and Ash are brilliant talent and we’re excited to have their podcast join the iHeartPodcast Network.”

Two Doting Dads launched in April 2023 and quickly amassed success with 70,000 downloads across five episodes, just over a month after the podcast launched. The co-hosts also gained over two million views across social media with the success of posting video clips of the podcast on social media platforms like TikTok.

“We couldn’t be more stoked to join the iHeart family! I still can’t believe that little record Ash and I did one afternoon, when we stole my wife’s podcast equipment, has turned into this,” said Matty J. “Who knew people wanted to hear about two dads being shat on, struggling with sleep schedules and getting a vasectomy.”

“[I] can’t believe talking shit with a mate is now my job and we get to share our daily dad struggles with likeminded parents,” said Wicks; [I] just hope the fam aren’t listening, and if they are, sorry… anyway, [I'm] super pumped to be with iHeart!"

iHeartPodcast Network Australia also recently signed a deal with podcast and video production studio Producey to bring its slate of original shows over to its network, including titles like Dyl & Friends, List Cloggers, 200 Plus and Tee It Up, and talk-show podcast Unewsual by Bromley-Lynch.
