Global renews exclusive ad sales contract with ITV podcasts

Company to continue representing ITV’s podcast portfolio via DAX

Media and entertainment group Global has renewed its exclusive podcast partnership with broadcasting television network ITV, the company announced. 

With this partnership, Global will continue representing ad sales across ITV’s podcast portfolio via its digital advertising exchange DAX. It will also continue to host and distribute all ITV podcasts on Global Player. 

This includes existing podcast titles such as I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! And Love Island: The Morning After and the addition of news podcasts like What You Need To Know from ITV News as part of the renewed deal. 

“We've enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with DAX and Global over the last few years and are excited to continue working with them on our established Love Island: The Morning After podcast, and our growing portfolio of news, sport and entertainment podcasts,” said ITV digital and creative partnerships director Bhavit Chandrani. 

Global launched DAX in 2014 and has since connected brands and advertisers to an audience of more than 130 million people worldwide through targeted advertising across the UK, Europe, the US and Canada.

Other premium podcasts and publishers on DAX include SoundClod, Sky, My Therapist Ghosted Me, How To Fail with Elizabeth Day, and all of Global’s radio and podcast brands. Brands can advertise on more than 700 podcast titles through DAX’s network with spot ad campaigns, sponsorship, host reads and branded opportunities available.
