Libsyn to monetise Big IP Media’s podcast portfolio with exclusive ad sales deal

Portfolio includes The John Campea Show, Star Wars Explained, Dan Murrell Podcast, and more

Podcast hosting platform Libsyn has signed an exclusive ad sales deal between its advertising marketplace AdvertiseCast and podcast production company Big IP Media, the company has announced.

With this partnership, Big IP Media’s portfolio of podcasts will be monetised through Libsyn’s AdvertiseCast with a number of monetisation tools including host read, programmatic, and dynamic advertising, and access to over 1,500 brands on the platform.

“We look forward to working closely with Big IP Media and their compelling stable of podcasts,” said Libsyn’s AdvertiseCast content partnerships senior vice president Rick Selah. “This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to delivering exceptional podcast experiences and maximising advertising opportunities.”

Big IP Media is a content studio focused on film and TV commentary which was founded in 2021 by film journalist Scott Porch and The Big Thing podcast host Kristian Harloff.

Its portfolio includes TV and film podcasts The John Campea Show, Star Wars Explained, the Dan Murrell Podcast, Happy Sad Confused, Sean Chandler Talks About, and Film Speak. Reality TV and pop culture podcast No Filter with Zack Peter will later join Big IP Media and AdvertiseCast in August.

“I am thrilled with the opportunity to collaborate with Libsyn's AdvertiseCast and their dedicated sales team to effectively monetise our shows,” said Porch. “Their expertise in the podcast advertising industry, combined with their proactive approach, makes them the ideal partner to help us drive the revenue potential of our content.”

Big IP Media has also previously signed a multi-year distribution deal with podcast production studio Kast Media for five of its shows available in both video and audio: The John Campea Show, The Big Thing, The Dan Murrell Podcast, Star Wars Explained, and Happy Sad Confused.
