Podcast company Crowd Network has partnered with Red Bull to launch a new branded podcast all about cycling.
The series, titled Just Ride, features hosts and professional downhill mountain bikers Rob Warner and Eliot Jackson in conversation with a number of professionals in the cycling world, including mountain bike cross-country marathon rider Payson McElveen and INEOS Grenadiers cyclist Luke Rowe in the first two episodes.
“You might know us from downhill mountain biking but our new podcast is all about cycling; it’s just the thing that we love.” said Jackson in the podcast announcement. “We’ll be bringing you some big names, big stories, and hopefully we’ll be taking you out and about for some event coverage as well.”
“So whether you’re into mountain biking, gravel riding, tracking, BMX, or if you ride one of those weird, fold up bikes to work every day, this is the podcast for you,” said Warner.
The first two episodes of the podcast have already launched and are available to watch as a video through Red Bull TV or available to listen to across all major podcast platforms.
Just Ride is a production under Crowd Network’s latest content division, Crowd Branded, which launched in April this year and helps brands add podcasts into their media mix by supporting them through every step of the journey including content strategy, production, launch, hosting, and promotion.
Crowd Network’s first branded series under the new venture was a collaboration with Manchester Airport which launched in May. The series is titled Manchester: Your Airport, MAN and explores the inner workings and behind-the-scenes details of Manchester airport, from how an airfield works to what kind of arrangements are put in place when celebrities are travelling.
Red Bull already has a number of branded podcasts in its portfolio including Decoding Athletes with BMX Flatland world champion Matthias Dandois and rugby union player Jack Nowell, Red Bull: Risk Made Me Do It, How to Be Superhuman, and more.
