Digital audio network PodcastOne has signed an exclusive distribution and ad sales deal with comedy podcast Some More News and its spinoff podcast Even More News, the company has announced.
Some More News is a weekly YouTube and podcast series created and hosted by comedian and former Cracked.com writer Cody Johnston, which features satirical analysis on current affairs topics. Johnston also co-hosts the weekly spin off of the podcast, Even More News with longtime collaborator, actress and producer Katy Stoll.

With this partnership, brands can advertise on the podcasts through PodcastOne’s monetisation tools including pre-recorded and live host endorsements as well as visual ad integration available through a sponsorship splash, ad banner or video ad. PodcastOne will also distributeSome More News and Even More News across its own platform as well as more widely across other major podcast platforms.
PodcastOne also uses dynamic ad insertion technology which allows for geo-targeting audiences, as well as ad campaign performance measurement with metrics on how many people hear the brand’s ad spot when a podcast is downloaded. The raw download data is derived and verified from Edgecast, Edison Research, and WideOrbit.
