Dublin-based podcast company The Podcast Studios has expanded its team with the appointment of Dan Wilcox as producer and editor, the company has announced.
Wilcox brings three years of podcast experience and almost 10 years in the audio and music sector, having previously worked as the podcast editor for production company The Podcast Guys and as the production assistant on the CocoMelon StoryTime podcast for Moonbug Entertainment.
“We are delighted to have Dan join the production team,” said The Podcast Studios head of podcasts Conor Reid. “He has a strong background in podcast production for a very wide range of clients in the UK and will bring his skills as a producer, editor, and musician to the team.”
With this new role, Wilcox’s responsibilities will include producing and editing podcasts across The HeadStuff Podcast Network as well as other client podcasts. Wilcox has experience working with brands on creating podcasts through The Podcast Guys, having previously worked with clients like Shell, The Body Show, Siemens, and more.
The Podcast Studios is a part of award-winning arts and culture website HeadStuff, and has worked with a number of individuals and organisations to help them create packages to develop their podcast, from studio time and editing to marketing support and post-production. Current and previous clients that have worked with The Podcast Studios include Aldi, SEAI, Brown Thomas, and more.
