Comedy podcast This Paranormal Life will be embarking on a live tour of the US and UK, the hosts have announced, bringing their popular show to venues such as London’s Hackney Empire and New York’s Gramercy Theatre.
This tour follows co-hosts Rory Powers and Kit Grier Mulvenna’s first tour last summer - The Dice Of Death - which sold out multiple venues. The British Podcast Award-winning show sees the pair investigating paranormal mysteries to try and uncover the truth, with the live shows being tailored to the area in which they’re performing.
"Our podcast was born in Hackney, where we recorded in our bedrooms for years, and have now graduated to a closet-sized studio,” said Grier Mulvenna. “We've walked by Hackney Empire thousands of times, so it's unbelievable to see our names on the poster next to some of the UK's top comedians. It'll be an extra special place to celebrate our first world tour with our listeners."
Subscribers to the podcast’s Patreon platform will have early access to pre-sale tickets from 28 June, with the full release planned for 30 June. The tour dates will begin on 6 October in Los Angeles, and will run in the US until 16 October. The UK leg will run from 22 to 28 October.
