Podcast advertising company AdLarge Media has launched a new digital accelerator programme, the company has announced, designed to help podcasters maximise their revenue opportunities.
The new programme, AdLarge Labs, promises to help podcasters with their marketing strategies, drive engagement with their brands and build relationships with advertisers. As part of the scheme, AdLarge will provide partnered creators with tools and guidance, as well as helping them work with additional platforms and technology providers including YouTube, PodRoll, FlightPath and Barometer.
“The Labs team supports creators and networks to bring their podcasts to new audiences by expanding into new platforms, including long and short-form video,” said AdLarge head of podcast growth and strategy Matt Turck. “The video marketplace, for many podcast creators, is an untapped revenue stream. This initiative not only builds out influencer brand capabilities but also creates layered advertiser opportunities.”
Podcast creators and networks can register their interest in joining the programme now, by emailing labs@adlarge.com, and the scheme does not require potential members to be partnered with AdLarge for monetisation or ad sales.
“AdLarge is a fantastic example of a team dedicated to expertise in every aspect of the podcast space,” added Sounds Profitable founder Bryan Barletta, “from customer service, to innovation, and especially operational excellence. This initiative is yet another example of that, bolstering their already exceptional offerings to creators, with a strong focus on increasing industry audience and revenue.”
AdLarge has grown its portfolio significantly through partnering with a number of podcasters this year, including former Disney star Christy Carlson Romano, podcast network PodCo, and former stars of 'The L Word' Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey.
