Former Disney star Christy Carlson Romano’s weekly podcast series Vulnerable has joined independent audio ad-sales company AdLarge Media’s podcast portfolio.
With this partnership, AdLarge will represent the podcast and help monetise it by connecting it with a number of potential advertisers. Vulnerable is the latest podcast to join AdLarge’s portfolio which holds over 150 shows.
“I'm thrilled to have AdLarge as partners in my journey to build Vulnerable into a dynamic podcast and safe space for meaningful discussions surrounding mental health and honest growth,” said Romano.
Vulnerable is created by podcast network PodCo and talks about Romano’s rise to Disney stardom and what happened afterwards, featuring a number of interviews with fellow celebrities, friends, and experts.
“Christy holds nothing back, sharing her real and honest experiences as a child growing up in the Hollywood machine,” said AdLarge CEO Cathy Csukas. “These are not the fun, over-filtered posts that you typically see on social media from celebrities.”

PodCo is known for creating a number of Disney and Nickelodeon rewatch podcasts with entertainment stars including Wizards of Waverly Pod with Jennifer Stone and David DeLuis, as well as Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide! with Devon Werkheiser, Lindsey Shaw, and Daniel Curtis Lee.
In February 2023, AdLarge announced a content partnership with PodCo to help support the network financially by connecting it with its portfolio of advertisers in order to help it reach its revenue goals. Current partners of AdLarge include Motor Racing Network, PromoSuite+, Magellan AI, Megaphone, Radio Network, and Performance Racing Network.
