Podcast Radio Network, a discovery platform for podcasts, has expanded its company to include a podcast production house for brands.
The newly-launched division offers bespoke solutions for worldwide brand partners and includes in-person and remote services to help transform the company’s content into audio and video from start to finish.
“This is a natural extension of what we do,” said Podcast Radio CEO and founder Gerry Edwards. “We’ve made our own Podcast Radio Originals for some time but we now want to extend our extensive production skills to brand partners as well.”
Podcasts developed with the Podcast Radio production house will be distributed strategically to major podcasting platforms including Apple, Spotify, and YouTube, as well as on the Podcast Radio platform, which uses a linear radio format to showcase podcasts without users having to specifically seek them out. Other services include creating a full content strategy with social media clips and highlights, and promotional opportunities via its own streaming radio channels, advertising campaigns, and on-air interviews with the podcast hosts.
Moving forward, Podcast Radio has a number of future plans to expand its network, including expanding to US radio stations by distributing a 24/7 American version of its programming and has partnered with KMG Networks to carry out the programming.
The network is also developing a short-form version of its output, rather than playing podcasts in full to sit alongside its main radio channel and is growing brand extensions for its Crime, Comedy, and Business channels.
