AdsWizz and SoundCloud renew sales partnership through 2024

Advertisers can run campaigns with SoundCloud’s audio inventory across 14 European markets

Advertising platform AdsWizz, a subsidiary of broadcasting company SiriusXM, has renewed its exclusivity deal with music streaming service SoundCloud to continue selling its audio ad inventory. 

With this partnership, which will run through 2024, SoundCloud’s audio ad inventory will continue to be available across 14 European markets including Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

"This relationship extension allows for continued leverage of AdsWizz technology to support the growth of our ad-supported services across Europe and gives advertisers access to SoundCloud's ever-growing global community of artists and music fans."

Advertisers will be able to gain access to SoundCloud’s audio ad inventory through all major DSPs, as well as through direct IO buys and the AdsWizz Marketplace which uses programmatic and contextual advertising. Other advertising solutions available through AdsWizz include dynamic ad insertion and campaign management. 

AdsWizz first signed with SoundCloud in January 2021 to distribute its audio ad inventory across Europe. Since then, SoundCloud’s inventory “more than doubled” and has incorporated AdsWizz ad-tech solutions such as data-driven advertising and interactive ad formats like ‘ShakeMe’, which allows listeners to engage with ads by shaking their phones.

Other partners that AdsWizz has signed with recently as part of its global expansion include a deal with global advertising marketplace Audacia to expand its audio network across Asia. This includes selling Audacia’s local inventory on AdsWizz podcasts across Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
