Libsyn signs advertising deal with The Viall Files

Pop culture podcast will be exclusively monetised via AdvertiseCast platform

Successful pop culture podcast The Viall Files will be exclusively monetised by Libsyn’s AdvertiseCast platform under the terms of a newly-signed agreement, the company has announced.

The show, hosted by author and former star of The Bachelor Nick Viall, will utilise the full range of the platform’s features, including Libsysn subscriptions to provide ad-free and bonus content, and Automatic Ads to deliver programmatic revenue.

“I'm elated to bring The Viall Files over to the razor-sharp team at Libsyn. We have some amazing things planned to continue growing The Viall Files into an undeniable media brand, and Libsyn has built an incredible home to expand and flourish under,” said Viall.

The show, which launched in 2019, has an average monthly audience of around five million listeners, and was nominated for a People’s Choice Award in 2020. Previous guests include Steve-O, Kelly Osbourne, Nikki Glaser and more.

“Nick has built an incredible team of podcast professionals who understand their listeners and embrace the underlying principles of both audience and revenue growth,” said Rick Selah, senior vice president of content partnerships for AdvertiseCast. “Our sales team is ecstatic to represent The Viall Files and are already actively introducing new brand and agency partners to the show.”

Libsyn has been making a number of partnership deals to expand the reach of AdvertiseCast in recent months, including partnering with two Canadian podcast networks, expanding the reach of its subsidiary Julep Media with a Spanish office, and integrating with YouTube for greater data visibility into campaign performance.
