Independent audio ad-sales company AdLarge Media has announced the new addition of Crime Analyst to its podcast network portfolio.
Crime Analyst is a true-crime podcast hosted by award-winning criminal behavioural analyst Laura Richards, who also co-hosts Wondery’s Real Crime Profile podcast alongside former FBI profiler Jim Clemente and Criminal Minds casting director Lisa Zambetti.
It’s the newest addition to join over 150 podcasts within Adlarge’s portfolio, including culture podcast Girls Next Level, true-crime podcast Chasing Evil and money podcast Financial Feminist.
“Laura Richards’ extensive career as a criminal behaviour analyst places the listener deeper inside the cases than ever before," said AdLarge CEO Cathy Csukas. “Her depth of knowledge and experience makes the Crime Analyst podcast acutely focused, smart and informative. Its exceptional exploration and study of true crime is like nothing else out there and we’re eager to bring this highly engaging expert and leading female voice to the marketplace.”
With this partnership, AdLarge is able to take over the business aspect of the podcast and is able to connect it to a number of advertisers, including clients across “Fortune 500 companies to emerging DTC brands”.
“I’m excited to join AdLarge’s podcast portfolio and get Crime Analyst into as many ears as possible,” said Richards. “Podcasts are such an intimate experience and I love sharing my knowledge and insight about cases and creating real change with my listeners.”
Last year in January, AdLarge announced an ad sales partnership with audio company G Networks to combine both companies’ sales networks and allow AdLarge to oversee the inventory, while G Networks extended its premium programming and services to radio stations within the US.
AdLarge also regularly publishes reports on the podcast advertising industry, including its annual podcast buying guide with contributions from experts in that area, including BetterHelp and AI platform Barometer.
