Entries are now open for the Podcast Movements Evolutions 2023 scholarship, which awards successful applicants with a free podcaster pass to the conference.
Evolutions 2023 is an annual event by Podcast Movements which brings together podcast industry professionals to share knowledge and insights on the market, and will take place at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas from 7 to 10 March.
The scholarship scheme is open to first-time creators that do not have the financial means to attend the event. In order to be eligible, applicants must have a brand-new (or unlaunched) podcast, and must not have signed up for Evolutions 2023 or attended previous events held by Podcast Movements.
The Podcaster Pass, which sells for $219 (£180), is inclusive of food, drinks, and snacks provided at the conference and covers entry to all sessions on the three Podcaster Track stages (podcaster, industry pro, and beginner sessions), the Evolutions Expo hall, all keynote sessions, as well as event-wide parties and networking events.
“Every year, we try our best to help those who are willing, able, and serious about attending Podcast Movement by working with them to make the event financially accessible,” the company stated. “We will always attempt to do for some, what we wish we could do for everyone.”
Podcast Movements also advised that having a track record of being an active member of the Podcast Movement Facebook community or one of its meetup groups can help better the chances of applicants winning the podcaster pass. The last day to submit the application is on Friday 20 January at midnight and winners will be announced in the following week’s newsletter on 25 January.
Podcast Movements has already announced first three rounds of speakers that will be taking part in Evolutions 2023 over the past two months.
