Tenderfoot TV extends podcast partnership with Cadence13 for two more years

Hit podcasts Up and Vanished, To Live and Die in LA, Culpable, and Radio Rental picked up for new seasons

Podcast company Tenderfoot TV has announced that it has extended its partnership with Audacy-owned podcast studio Cadence13 through 2024, with the initiative to develop a new slate of original weekly series and renew established ones.

The next new project to come out of the partnership will be a series titled High Strange investigating the phenomena around UFOs, hosted by Tenderfoot TV co-founder Payne Lindsey and expected to premiere early this year.

“We always strive to push the limits of podcasting and Cadence13 has consistently empowered our team to use creative freedom,” said Lindsey. “This new series is unlike anything we’ve done before, and with this partnership, we’re confident we have the support to give our listeners something truly unique.”

In addition to creating new series, several established projects have also been picked up for new seasons, including true-crime series Up and Vanished which investigates cold cases, To Live and Die in LA on the real-time investigation of the Adea Shabi’s disappearance, Culpable which explores sources of blame in unsolved cases, and Radio Rental on real-life horror stories.

“Through our partnership with Cadence13, we’ve launched some of our most compelling new series, which have now become household names,” said Tenderfoot TV CEO and co-founder Donald Albright. “This expanded partnership allows us to build on those tentpole titles as well as launch new formats, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.”

“Tenderfoot TV is at the top of its game and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them and continue to create innovative, thought provoking and compelling content,” said chief content officer and founding partner of Cadence13 Chris Corcoran. “Payne and Donald have made Tenderfoot the indisputable leader in the true crime genre, and we look forward to new seasons of listener favourites… as well as a slate of new series.”

In 2020, Up and Vanished was turned into an investigative six-part TV series on Oxygen Network after the podcast achieved 350 million downloads, produced by Tenderfoot TV and Propagate Content. Tenderfoot TV’s portfolio also includes podcasts such as true-crime podcasts When A Good Man Kills for Audible, Algorithm for iHeartMedia and satirical true-crime series We Stay Looking for HBO.
