Podcast Movement has announced the first round of speakers for its annual Evolutions 2023 podcast conference, including representatives from Magellan AI, Edison Research and Riverside.FM.
The event, launched in 2020 as an offshoot of the podcaster community organisation’s eponymous flagship conference, aims to bring together professionals from across the industry to share knowledge and insights around the latest industry trends, tools, and technology through a series of sessions, panels, networking spaces, and keynote talks.
“Evolutions is our newest event concept, and is a more focused experience for those in attendance,” the website said. “The content is all about the changing landscape of the podcast industry.
“Whether you’re an industry professional, a full time podcaster, or a hobbyist creator, it’s important to know what is happening in the space around you.”
On the business end, podcast advertising analytics platform Magellan AI’s CEO Cameron Hendrix and chief revenue officer John Goforth will be presenting a talk on podcast advertising in 2022 and 2023. LinkedIn Business Accelerator Judi Fox will also be giving a talk on how to leverage LinkedIn to boost your podcast.
Other speakers that will be in attendance include Larry Rosin, president of market research company Edison Research, podcast studio Riverside.FM’s video producer Stephen Robles, and research tool Signal Hill Insights’ founder and president Jeff Vidler.
Past speakers to have taken part in the conference in previous years have included the CEO of Gimlet Media Alex Blumberg, Marc Maron, host of the WTF podcast, Serial’s host and executive producer Sarah Keonig, and many more.
Next year’s Podcast Movement Evolutions conference will be held at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas from 7 to 10 March, with tickets on sale now for podcasters, industry professionals, and a discounted rate for beginners.
